YOGA in the STREET is on the 1st Saturday in June directly in front of Sweet Peace! Your reservation is your donation to Kirk♥️Care.
This outdoor class serves as a warm up to the Centennial Route 66 Cars & Guitars Festival taking place later in the afternoon. Below is an AI generated photo of the Event last year before it rained.
- Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026
- Time: 10:30-11:30 a.m.
- Location: In the street right in front of Sweet Peace Yoga & Balance 118 W Jefferson Ave, Kirkwood, MO 63122.
- Cost: Sliding-scale donation, choose what you want to give when you sign-up (between $10-$40). 100% of the proceeds will then be donated directly to support the community through Kirk❤️Care (Don't worry about cancelling or "not showing" your donation will still be passed along to Kirk♥️Care.)
- What to Bring: A yoga mat or beach towel, water bottle & sunscreen. (a few extra mats will be available to borrow on-site).
- 🚧 Traffic & Parking
Because the city is preparing for the Route 66 Cars and Guitars Festival, several downtown streets will be blocked off to vehicular traffic starting in the "wee" hours of the morning. West Jefferson Avenue and a part of Kirkwood Rd. are closed, you will need to park a block away and walk to the front of the studio. The lot in front of Mike Duffy’s should have availability since we are several hours before the Festival.
🎸 Stay for the Festival
Once yoga wraps up at 11:30, you can spend the day exploring Downtown Kirkwood before the main Event! Think Coffee…Lunch…Shopping…Farmers Market…Visiting with friends…Meeting new friends. The
