A regulated nervous system is a necessary precursor to optimal mental health. In this Hatha style class, we will get in touch with our physical body to soothe and strengthen it. Through this practice, we will prepare the mind to be similarly soothed and strengthened. The physical exertion of the poses will prepare us for the final relaxation and meditation, during which we can become aware of our true Self or soul. This path leads us to disentangle our mind from the physical demands and distractions of the body. This class aims to heal us heart and soul.
